Mildew-Resistant Antibacterial Heavy-Duty Shower Curtain Liner Review

Some things are just a given...  A clean towel when you get out of the shower and a shower curtain liner with no mold or mildew.  These are things you think a lot about but when they aren't there, you notice!

I was given the opportunity to review the Mildew-Resistant Antibacterial Heavy-Duty Shower Curtain Liner. In exchange for an honest review, I received a free Shower Curtain Liner.

I live on the coast of North Carolina with all its beauty but also with all its humidity.  Mold and mildew are common 'coloring' for a bathroom in my house and we use a lot of bleach spray to keep it at bay.  This liner is Antibacterial, heavy weight and could be used as a curtain instead of just a liner.

Racism, Hatred or the Royal Baby

The news, the news, the news!  It's a royal baby, heir to the thrown and a cute little cuddleness of joy for all of us to talk about for a while!  Yea, yea, yea, I know some of you are moaning about the news being broadcasting such a far-away event.  No, this will probably never affect us.  No, we will probably never lay eyes on the cute little fella.

Had you rather hear about people killing people?  You want the media to just give us the horror stories of the world around us?  I certainly don't.  I don't want to hear about how our government is in a mess, how people are unemployed, how race is an issue and fuels craziness.  I want to hear some good news once in a while.

If I hear one more story about riots breaking out because of a horrible event, I may scream.  Yes, a poor young man was shot.  Yes, a trigger-happy community watch gentleman did things that he was told not to do.  A jury found him innocent and everyone looses.  And yes, if they had found him guilty, everyone would still loose!!!   The young man is still dead, his family still grieves, the shooter will live the rest of his life with that over his head and the media has lots to fuel the fire!  I don't have an opinion.  I didn't watch the trial.  I didn't keep up with any of it except what the news reported.  That was way too much for me!!!  So give me a cute little kid born as a royal heir and I can live without the unhappiness of another sad event.  I can live without hearing about how our politicians have gone to hell in a hand basket.

Just for a few days, let me hear all about the nursery.  Let's guess what they will name him.  Tell me about parents being happy with their new bundle of joy.  They are royalty, for heaven sake!  Just be happy for them.  Most of us can relate to happy things.  Feel their joy and in turn, maybe we might can share a smile or two with people around us. Just for the day.......................

So how about you?  Do you enjoy hearing about Royal babies?

hair+scalp FiX from Twisted Sista Review

I have never been blessed with 'perfect' hair.  It behaves badly, has a mind of its own and reacts to the slightest change in humidity or rain chances.  I have had the recent opportunity to review a hair product just for people like me.  http://twistedsista.com/ has all your problem hair needs.

Twistedsista

Daddy used to tell me I had 'kind' hair; the kind that grows on a donkey's butt.  As I got older, I realized he was right.  I jumped at the chance to review the Twisted Sista brand.  I chose the 'Rescue Me' collection and received the above products along with a curl activator and blow dryer creme to try as samples.  Most mornings when I wake up, my hair decides what it will do for the day.  Based on the weather, I only make decisions as to how to wear it.  Most of the time, it's with a clip so I can control the frizz.

Rescue Me restructure and repair treatment replenishes Keratin levels in your hair and I did see a noticeable difference in the texture and my ability to control the frizz.  It's a conditioner that you use several times a week for about five minutes after you wash as normal.  Loved it!

I also tried the Rescue Me Curl Activator spray on the days I didn't wash my hair or use the repair treatment.  It was like reviving the dead locks and gave me an unexpected shine and ability to manage my mop.

These pictures were taken after using the products for a few weeks.  I can tell a difference and highly recommend the products.  You can find much more information at the contacts below:

Adult Pirate Costume Review

Arrrggggggggg.....
It's so much fun to be a kid again or to just dress up like one.  I had the opportunity to review a pirate costume.  My mission was to choose a costume from The Costume Store and then do an honest review.  I spent a while trying to decide but finally settled on the pirate costume. I finally chose the Pirates of the Caribbean style shown below.  It was a great choice and I was very pleased~!

Pirate Girl
The online site was easy to navigate and the sizes are true.  The above pirate costume fit perfectly.  It came with the boot covers, the head band and the skirt and top.  It was such fun pretending to be a pirate.  Someone described me as even acting a little more sassy when I put it on.

Sassy Pirate
I chose the pirate themed costume from here http://www.buycostumes.com/c/pirates/_/N-1c because I knew that it would be used for more than just Halloween.  Can you imagine showing up to a pirate festival or a costume party wearing this?  You'd be the hit of the festival and envious of all your pirate friends.

The costume is very well made and of high quality material.  This costume will  be in my wardrobe dress up container for many years to come.  I highly recommend http://www.buycostumes.com/ for all your costumes.

Backview of Pirate Costume

My pirate costume was incredibly detailed. I love to have options when it comes to Halloween or any costume party.  I could actually wear this one to work or during the winter by adding tights.  So versatile and that is always a plus!

Arrrrrrggggggg

In my own opinion, I would recommend buying your costumes at http://www.buycostumes.com/.  They have a huge selection, great prices and free shipping on certain amounts.  Check them out and let me know what YOU think.  Happy shopping!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Ozeri CardioTech Premium Series BP3T Digital Arm Blood Pressure Monitor Review

I had the opportunity to review the Ozeri Bloood Pressure Monitor.  The company sent me a very high tech machine in exchange for an honest review.

This extremely efficient machine is so easy to use.  It comes with full instructions, a great carry case and a warranty!  It has the capability of storing the readings of two separate people. I personally do not have high blood pressure but I do keep a check on it regularly because of my family history.

One of my tenants takes medication for high blood pressure and is required to take his at least once a day.  He loved the added feature of the storage of prior days readings.  The unit is super light and very high tech.  The screen display is larger so it's easier to read.

If you are considering a purchase of a blood pressure machine, I highly recommend the Ozeri Cardo Tech Premium Series.  It is sold at Amazon for 59.95.  http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C2EABVA.  Below are the website specs on this awesome find.

CardioTech products by Ozeri offer clinically proven technology and are used by physicians and hospitals around the world. Compact, portable and simple to use, the CardioTech Premium Series BP3T Blood Pressure Monitor is an advanced 2-user arm-cuff monitor powered by a state-of-the-art CPU that utilizes a double pulse detection algorithm to enhance pulse wave detection, thereby improving accuracy. Unlike traditional blood pressure monitors that inflate to 170 mmHg or higher by default, the CardioTech BP3T utilizes MWI (Measure While Inflate), a dynamic measurement technology that varies the inflation process according to real-time blood pressure detection to reduce measurement time and increase user comfort. Featuring a Blue LCD with LED backlight, touch sensitive buttons, and a slider switch for easy user selection, the CardioTech BP3T Blood Pressure Monitor stores up to 120 blood pressure readings (60 x 2 users) with date and time memory recall. The CardioTech BP3T automatically classifies each reading according to World Health Organization hypertension guidelines with an intelligent graphical display. It also calculates average blood pressure based on the last 3 readings, and detects irregular heartbeat (Arrhythmia) for an improved understanding of your heart's health. Backed by a 5 year warranty, the Ozeri CardioTech Blood Pressure Monitor ships with 4 AAA batteries (included), a medium sized arm cuff included (8.7"-14.2"/ 22-36cm) a carrying bag and user manual.

I really loved the ease of operation with a one button push.  It also detects any irregularity in heart beat and tells you if your pressure is too high.  I was very pleased with this product!
