Friends, Both Real and Virtual

How many of you have one true friend? How about two or three or even four? I mean the kind of friend you can call, day or night, just to talk. The kind that will bail you out of jail or as the saying goes, be right there with you saying, "whoa, that was fun".

I have many! I am lucky enough to have three that I went to school with that I actually keep in touch with. They listen to me whine when I'm feeling down. They celebrate my achievements and are happy when I am. They are here for me, no matter what, through thick and thin.

I have girlfriends who let me come and drink coffee with them and share my life happenings. I have friends who take me out to have a good time, whether it be to a movie or the latest band or just supper. We laugh, we cry, we talk about things that have happened and things that never will.

But my virtual friends are my lifeline! I don't know what I'd do without you guys! You are always my support. You tell me to grasp each day as a sign of new things to come. You send me head-on into the world with amazing clarity, even though we've never met. Some of you know more about me than people I see everyday! That is really scary!

I want to thank you all for the part you play in my sanity. Thank you for listening when I gripe. Thank you for laughing with me when I laugh and crying when I cry; or at least saying something comical to make me forget why I was sad in the first place. Thank you for taking part in things I achieve and being honest when I'm at fault!

Each friend gives me something that I need. Advice, laughter, a shoulder! If you have a few good friends in your life, you are, indeed, living! You are one of the lucky ones. As for me, I am the luckiest cause I have you guys!

Ok, enough of that mushy shit!

My Girls

The above picture was taken of a few of my friends when we did a visit to . Gatlinburg.  Be sure to read about some of the things we do when we have a girls weekend.  It was loads of fun.
